From the Swedish west coast comes the eloquently musical poet Axel Sondén, whose captivating performance together with folky pop-fusion group Flyttfåglarna is captured on record, the group's second full-length album, entitled Slutsåld (Sold Out). Sondén writes with a very personal tone, and ingeniously brings out telling everyday life observations as well as recollections from trips to places far. Flyttfåglarna provides the strong melodies and the stirring, groove-laden folk band backdrop to Sondén's crystal clear vocals, helped on occasion by backing singers in the band. Don't hesitate to sample this group's enticing repertoire of highly personal music, there's attitude, there's credibility and there's groove. Highly recommended!
