Originally commissioned by music community Scandinavian Soul for a compilation album, Maiah Lay's fifth single, Snowbound, penned by herself and producer Daniel Lantz, is a wintery holiday song about the sad prospect of celebrating Christmas and New Years Eve in the wake of the Corona pandemic. Maiah Lay is backed by her live band as well as a children's choir in order to evoke the true Christmas spirit, and of course with the 70s-tinged retro sound which has become her trademark.
